New Cooperation with Hong Kong University

moov’inStyle is happy and proud to announce a framework agreement with the Institute of Transport Studies at Hong Kong University  >>. The city was not chosen by coincidence: Hong Kong is one of the best cities for sustainable urban mobility >>. In their latest Sustainable Cities Mobility Index (SCMI), consultants Arcadis have ranked 100 cities for sustainable mobility from a social, environmental and economic perspective. European cities occupy 7 of the Top 10 spots – but Hong Kong is the overall winner.

Whether it’s London’s Tube, LA’s freeways or Amsterdam’s bicybles, cities are defined in part by their distinct urban transport systems. But not all cities are in the same place in their mobility journey, and the SCMI is a framework to evaluate the economic, social and environmental impact of their transport systems. This ranking identifies which cities are most progressed in achieving sustainable mobility as the city stands today. Hong Kong takes the top spot, boosted by its innovative and well-connected metro network and a high share of trips taken by public transport.

More information will follow shortly.
